Default buying a new car by December 31st

i always heard this was the best time to get a deal on a new car just before the end of december. any details on this anybody?

Hi MsGina. I've heard the same thing. I think it has something to do with get the sales numbers to show up in the current year, 2008, to make their sales numbers look stronger. So they throw out incentives to get your transaction done before 2008 is finished.

Im a mechanic and see a lot of car deals in December. But now there are big car deals anytime because the dealers are hurting for the business. I would look stay away from GM & Chrysler. I don't think it's going to be easy to get parts and good service for warranty on these cars pretty soon.

Definitely stay away from Government Motors!!! My friends GM dealer job got cut as the dealer was given notice that it was not going to be a GM dealer anymore. But at the same time GM got their bail out money. THAT'S MESSED UP!

I would by a FORD!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm done with GM (GOVERNMENT Motors)
